Де в Україні найчастіше купують електромобілі
According to Ukrautoprom, in the first half of the year, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was replenished with 15,221 electric vehicles (BEV).
The highest registration figures for these vehicles were demonstrated by:
- Lviv region — 2098 units (93% used);
- Kyiv city — 1632 units (57% used);
- Kyiv region — 1234 units (73% used);
- Volyn region — 1043 units (97% used);
- Dnipropetrovsk region — 1006 units (73% used).
New cars
In terms of new vehicles, the leading positions in these markets were held by:
▫️BYD Leopard 3 — in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Volyn region;
BYD Sea Lion 06 EV — in Lviv and Kyiv regions
The best-sellers in the segment of used electric vehicles imported from abroad are: TESLA Model Y — in Kyiv, Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
We previously reported that a slowdown in sales in June is quite typical for the Ukrainian market: for example, last year demand in early summer slowed by 5.2% compared to the May result.
Demand for used vehicles increased significantly during the same period: the database of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded 90.8 thousand registration actions for used cars — almost a quarter more than in May.
Previously, we discussed that Copenhagen leads among European cities in terms of the share of electric vehicles in the total passenger car fleet — 18%. Amsterdam ranks second with 14%.
Next are:
- London — 6%;
- Paris — 5%;
- Berlin — 4%;
- Madrid, Rome, and Warsaw — approximately 1%.
Chinese cities have the largest share of electric buses in their urban fleets. Shenzhen leads, with its bus fleet already fully electric (100%). In Beijing, electric buses account for 94.7% of the fleet, and in Shanghai — 86.6%.
